Here’s to another day working for Aunt Winnie! This weekend adventure? Flower planting and outdoor furniture painting. But Aunt Winnie wouldn’t dare use spray paint. Everything has to be painted by hand. And these results will definitely amaze!
You read that correctly. My aunt is so particular that she can’t stand spray paint. Hand painted or nothing is her motto. She believes it looks cleaner and neater.
Last year, I painted the furniture white which looked fantastic with her red door, shutters and rock. But this year, she is rockin’ some new iron front doors.
Seriously, I have never liked these doors, but she had to make them all beautiful with her wreath and all. But that meant her white furniture no longer would work.
We cracked open a can of Rustoleum Oil Based enamel in factory black and wow!
It started to look completely different.
And I was so excited, I kinda went a little paint crazy. Must have been the fumes.
Yes, those are disposable table clothes. They are fantastic paint cloths and incredibly durable. So here’s the finished product.
I need to find iron furniture in a yard sale or something. So excited for my aunt. Proof that a big change comes from a can of paint. This is ridiculously adorable! Want!
